It’s a basic, no frills option for those who can’t access other types of broadband, or don’t require faster speeds. The service is delivered over a standard telephone line which can be used for simultaneous Internet access and telephone calls.

ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. ADSL is a broadband connection provided through the copper wires of a standard telephone connection. The service is delivered over a standard telephone line which can be used for simultaneous Internet access and telephone calls. The speed of operation is determined by proximity to the local telephone exchange and quality of the telephone line.
